PUBLIC TELEVISION SERVICE TAIWAN produces a program of exploring towns and villages in Taiwan, called “Follow Me Go!” for low- and high-grade students in the elementary schools, which has been awarded with the Best TV Program for Juniors & Children Award, Top Five Star Grade. The program consists of culture & history, natural world, specialty, activity and exploration and so on, and the host always shares with everyone any brilliant story occurred in Taiwan in every episode.
This time, the host, Buddy Bing, carries a Girl named Ying to Taoyuan Kueishan Industrial Zone, as he was told that a technology company is developing a program called Noah’s Ark, intending to help human beings and earth, later, they found the key role in this program is an electric bus!
An electric bus has many designs caring for others, in addition to its low chassis facilitating the elderly, disabled, women and kids to get on and off the bus conveniently, it even can lean laterally to reduce the height, as well as a position designed for guide dogs and device to stabilize the wheelchair. They had half-a-day tour to Jhuwei fishing harbor with a group of elementary school students, during of which, classmates enjoyed the ride, not only peace and stable, but also none of odor from waste emission, as E-Bus does not have the engine, either with exhaust pipes for exhaust.
Buddy Bing and Girl Ying even test particularly to see any difference reflected between E-Bus and Diesel Bus, figuring out vibration during static and progress as well as response to the noise…
