Most vehicle batteries are using lead-acid batteries nowadays. However, lead-acid batteries caused highly pollutants, contained short life span, and deformated easily. The most important function of the vehicle batteries is to provide the instantaneous power required for the engine to start up and to cope with the extra power supply when the generator is unbearable. Vehicle components are now getting more and more complicated as well as composed of hundreds of thousands of electronic parts. Therefore, the role of the vehicle battery is becoming dominent in vehicle components.
As the awareness of environmental protection rises nowadays. The requirement for vehicles are demanding lightweight and fully upgraded. 12V lead-acid battery should be gradually phased out and replaced by lithium ion batteries.
